The family was established in Kadapra , Kumbanad .
This is about our larger family starting moving from a place called Omallur about 35 Kilometers away and came to to Kadapra , kumbanad , cleared the land and settled in A new Land and so the name "Puthen Parambil"

We understand that we those in the 50 Years and above generation are the bridging generation and the only one who could possibly do this. After we are gone , this will not get started , Ybderstand very well that we are the bridging generation.

And at the same time a translate to English with corrections and Addon's - meaning adding on the next generation ( not previousl included ) + the sisters and mothers and their familes as we can find, seek co-operation, mostly providing corrections , Photo's and details that can be inlcuded.

Koshy Velliappan, who had 8 children , 7 sons and 1 daughter is how the Puthenparambil family established , In Kadapra Kumbanad ) the new land ) and hence the name , as might explain . They Kind of settled in, having cleared the forest . They sure must of had help . Little details . Grand mothers are better story tellers. My grandmother sure explained a lot, we sure like to hear more . The 7 sons spread out eventually into the sub branches of the family.

Koshy "Valliappan" ( meaning great Nx grandfather) and his 7 sons are the ones who came to the “New land”, effectively how the Puthenparambil name was adopted.
Yes, that is how they came to become the pioneers of Kadapra, Kumbanad.
Kadapra apparently got its name due to the many “Hard rock hills” .
They cleared the land and spread out , picking out the locations they settled in. And that is how the sub branches and house names came about.
